Question 1 - Prize: $5 voucher to store of your choice

Here are three beautiful entries that caught my eye! Please leave some love for them by clicking on the pictures below :)
Winner: Random no. 2 Keeley Ainsworth

Question 2 -

Winner: Maroeska Prize: $10 la la land gift voucher

I would combine it with the Marci Fairy image, because these frames and shapes remind me of large gardens with small little homes for fairies and gnomes. It's a wonderful wonderful world with all kind of little creatures. They have a small town, with small bridges and even smaller teacups. The fairies would sit around the table with.

Question 3 - Prize: Little Darlings 4 pack of rubber stamps

Winner: (this one was tough!!!) Melissa Doherty
I would say Saturated Canary Fairytales and Fables. My love of fairytales at a young age got me hooked on reading. As an adult I still believe in fairy tales...which can at times get me in trouble for having unrealistic expectations! haha. In fact, when I go on vacation and swim in the ocean I still like to pretend I'm Ariel (shhh!)

Question 4 - Prize: My Snow Queen art Piece
Awww.. you guys brought tears to my eyes! So many beautiful words.. and so many of you offering this to cheer someone else up.. I love that!

Winner: Shannon Abblitt
I would have to mount and frame her for my eldest daughter's room to remind her to "believe" she can achieve her dreams! She has been so negative towards herself and needs constant reminding of all her positives. This gorgeous piece would be a constant reminder to her.

Question 5 - Prize: 10 pound Live and Love Crafts Voucher

Winner: Random no. 38 (from first posted to last) - Lene

Question 6 - Prize: $5 Make it Crafty voucher

Winner: (first person to answer) Amelia Lamb

Question 7 - Prize: $5 Make it Crafty Voucher

Winner: Linda Compton
I love the French Cottage. I would use it for a home base and stay for one year. During that year I will travel all around Europe and meet all my blogging friends I have come know via the crafty sites. The house will have a crafty studio and a fireplace with lots of books to read. Thanks Alyce now I have to go do dishes, laundry and all the stuff of reality. LOL

Question 8 - Prize: Tiddlyinks digi of your choice

Winner: Monica Rathbun
Ellie says Hi because we both have the same round head (although she carries hers better than I do). I also like the light bulb in the set. I'm always hoping that a light bulb (great idea) would shine above my head.. Hmmm...still waiting for a brilliant thought in my brain. If I colored her with a light bulb, I could say it was me and then that would be the next best thing. :-)

Question 9 - Prize: Whimsy stamps rubber stamp grab bag

Winner: Random no. 18 (from first posted to last) Emma Ricketts

Question 10 - Prize: Saturated Canary digi stamp of your choice

Winner: Denielle Sargeant
Pack light lol. I was cracking up laughing when I found this image, this is me to a T, doesn't matter what I'm doing or where I'm going. My kids love it when we go to a second hand book shop near us as it is purchase per container, you get this big container and you fill it with however many books etc you can fit in. I make my kids proud lol! I pack them so tight by the time I get to the car they are getting ready to burst :-p

Welcome!

Welcome everyone to the Kit and Clowder Online Community launch party!!! I am SO excited that you have joined me here today...I have put in a lot of effort to create an interactive community where we can all get together and share our colouring journey (highs and lows ;) ), and also a place where you can learn a few things that I have learnt over my journey in the past few years!

I would love for you all to feel welcome here to post your creations, questions, tips, etc. There will be a monthly challenge where I want you to do just that..CHALLENGE YOURSELF! :) Have fun colouring and creating! And this is not just a class for copics... I want to be inspired by all of the different mediums that you create with :)

Before we get started on this journey together there are two bits of advice I want to impart :) Number 1 is to practice practice practice, no matter which medium you are using. It takes a lot of time to perfect a medium (and trust me there is still SO much I need to learn with copics!), but the moral of the story is to never give up as you WILL get there with practice! And number 2 is to not waste time comparing yourself to others! We are all on a different journey with colouring and creating.. have all been doing it for different periods of time...and all have a different style :) Art should be fun and a way to express youself! So please never feel overwhelmed or intimidated here... we are all here to learn and celebrate one another :)

With that said.. let's get this party rolling!!! I will be posting a fun question every 15 minutes with HEAPS of prizes on offer!! Don't forget to chat and make some friends in between the questions! And refresh refresh your page to see the updated comments on questions :)

Lots of love, Alyce x

Question 7

Ok now that you have all had fun in the Make it Crafty store, I have another one to throw at you! Make it Crafty specialises not only in images but also in background stamps for you to make scenes with your colouring! For this next question I want to hear a bit of story telling ;) Pop over to the Make it Crafty website and take a look at the Background Scenes. I would like you to let me know which image would be your ideal holiday destination and why! Most creation answer will win a $5 gift certificate to the Make it Crafty store! http://www.makeitcrafty.com/

  • Hmmm I think the Cafe de Paris has to be my favourite... Only I'd make it the one in St Tropez so I could get some sun too! x
  • I love the Walking Sunshine background, when I was young there was a hillside just up from my nans house in the UK and we used to walk through the meadows and pick Buttercups, this reminds me of that treasured memory
  • I love the French Cottage. LOL
  • The Australian Outback Collection so I could come and visit Zoe and You and all the other Aussie gals!
  • Far Away Castle is my favorite as it reminds me of a journey for Cinderella. I would love to visit the various castles in European countries.
  • Cafe de Paris, Paris has always been a dream holiday for me.. I'm hoping it will one day be our honeymoon destination :-) we've been engaged for nearly 7 years.. So I'm still waiting for that dream to come true..
  • Castle Hideaway for me. The thought of being able to run around this castle, pushing open the creaky doors, and discovering wonderful treasures, is a perfect holiday from me! I would NOT take my tablet or mobile phone, just a camera!
  • This may be a strange answer but I pick the eerie digital scene. I have always wanted to take a trip to outer space. It would be amazing to see the earth and moon from there. This image of the moon reminded me of that dream.
  • It will be Cafe de Paris! Because Paris is the city of love and romance and I'm a born romantic at heart <3 <3 <3 I've never been there but I would like to see the Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower among others
  • A holiday destination? I need to pop over now and look! One is Cafe de Paris just because I always wanted to see Paris and not only Paris but to see Versailles, just would love to walk the halls and ballrooms and the gardens and see how the Sun King lived, I think it would be breathtaking and an experience of a lifetime! That's how I think of Paris :)
