Join us for an amazing weekend away packed full of crafting, colouring, and fun! A great chance to escape the daily grind to get together with like minded crafters and create some new friends :) We will be crafting in the The Sanctuary private getaway located at Cedar Creek Lodges in Mount Tamborine. Well worth the trip up to sunny Queensland... we will be crafting in a beautiful space for a destination weekend away. Our class conference room is a separate building in the rainforest facility,boasting an open brick fireplace, private double verandahs, and overlooks Cedar Creek.
What you can expect over the weekend
Commences 9am Saturday March 12 - Ends 4pm Sunday March 13
- Set classes designed and taught by Alyce of Kit and Clowder (min. 3 classes)
(covering markers/pencils, card techniques, and mixed media techniques)
Please note: You do not have to have completed or even have started any Kit and Clowder classes to take part. We will go over the basics :)
- Marker techniques will be taught hooked up to tvs for easy viewing in a full class
- Additional projects to be worked on at your own pace in a Crop environment (or bring your own!)
- One on one time to go through any techniques or colouring - feel free to bring your own projects
- All materials for classes included in kits
(you will need to bring your basic craft tool kit and colouring mediums as required for the classes)
- Goodie Bags with extras
- On-Site Craft Shopping for additional supplies
- Saturday Night Special Event - Pamper Night
- Games, Prizes, Many Surprises, and loads of fun! :)

Accommodation
- Triple Share Hotel Accommodation in Platypus Lodge. Includes Ensuite and linen.
- Additional Friday Night accommodation available for early arrival for $85 pp, including buffet breakfast. Many local or flying in might like to consider this for convenience and to have a group catchup on the Friday. We will do a group dinner for those arriving early.
- Double or Single bed accommodation can be discussed for a little extra
Flights
If you are flying there are two airports; Brisbane or Gold Coast. Both are about even travelling distance to Mount Tamborine and both have car hire services if required
- There will be a shuttle bus service available for us running from Brisbane Airport to Mount Tamborine (and return on Sunday) at a set time for a small hire fee. More information upon booking
- Most people flying in like to arrive Friday. We do an optional group dinner on Friday night for those that have arrived early.

The event is catered for all main meals including:

If you are registering for a friend, simply go through to paypal and on the first screen change quantity on the left menu. If you are wanting to bring a hubby please secure your spot and email me for details on an invoice for the package price for accommodation and/or meals.
Payment Details:
- $100 upfront deposit is non-refundable due to the requirements and contract of the hotel.
- All finalised payments must be made by February 1st unless a previous agreement has been discussed.
- Any snacks or additional costs that the customer wants to add to the weekend will be at the customer's own discretion and cost.
- *Your class kit does not include markers, paints, pencils, or your basic tool kit. You will need to supply this for the weekend or share with a friend :)
- It is strongly recommended that you take out travel insurance to cover any cancellations that may occur from yourself, the hotel, or Kit and Clowder. In the event of a customer cancellation, a refund cannot be guaranteed due to hotel contracts. However you will receive all kits from the event. Every case will be reviewed individually though.
- Kit and Clowder reserves the right to cancel the retreat if there is just cause
