I have been making cards for eight years. I took up the hobby to occupy myself while at home alone after my husband passed away. I went to several classes and tried lots of techniques and finally settled on rubber stamping and colouring (this, I think, was before digi's took off). I created a blog and visited others blogs and noticed some wonderful coloured images. I WANTED TO DO THIS. I enrolled on a one day class which cost £100 plus travelling and overnight accommodation - I didn't mind this as I was so keen to learn, and did learn a little. But when it was finished it was over and I was on my own again. I was trying to achieve and looking at videos but none of them explained light source, strokes or how to hold the markers. There was no avenue for support or feedback, something you have in abundance. Joining your classes really was a dream come true. I now have excellent expert tuition, massive support and a whole new community of fellow coloureds to call on. I am now in my element. Thank you so much Alyce.
