Hi guys!
The skin and hair class, what can i say? well its such a brilliant class. I didnt have any knowledge of Copics really when i first started, yep i read the stuff on the internet, watched youtube but nothing really helped guide you and help you to get to know your markers. Nor did they help you understand lightsource, colours and combos. Then came along Alyce. And thank goodness for that! Her classes are fantastic. Not only is she an awesome colourist, or card maker, her teaching skills are amazing. The classes are concise, the are straight forward, they start right at the beginning and help you get to know your Copics. She breaks everything down and the work she has put into these are unbelievable.
Not only this, but she has worked hard to get great sponsors on board so we have fun and funky images to colour. Not only this but the feedback is brilliant. She is always positive and uplifting and gives you confidence in your abilities but she helps you get to the next stage.
Again, not only the classes but the community Alyce has created. The fun and giggles and support is brilliant. The friendships are amazing.
Now when I started to colour I had my poor images with pale faces and flat tone hair- then i took the skin and hair class! and Suddenly it made sense!!! They no longer look pale and flat but they look fab and pop!!!! Granted it was hard work but without the fabulous classes I wont have the confidence to apply for the DTs that I did. From my top pic you can see that my image isnt pale! my poor bottom pic is very pale! You will see in the pic with Tilda wrapped in a bow how my hair colouring was flat, jump to mother to be Tilda and she has dimension!
