This is a great first class for you to try!
Lightsource is often a tricky topic for people learning to colour. It is something that not a lot of people understand how to implement or even why to implement, and oftentimes it is implemented inconsistently. Colouring is the art of darkening and lightening paper or your canvas to create a representation of something real. We try to recreate how we would imagine things to appear in real life to tell a story, even if the details are abstracted and not 100% real to life. In order to do this we apply real world values such as light and shade to create an accurate representation. Regardless of the level of detail (eg. nose, cheekbones) you want to add to an image while colouring, you really should be applying the fundamentals of lightsource to give your colouring presence. Before we can even start to apply light and shade to our colouring, or look at light as a mood influencer, we need to understand how it works on a basic level.
This is a self-study class in which you will be in an easy to use class environment to learn all there is to know about using lightsource to colour your images. You can work at your own pace and start at any time. There are exercise sheets for you to practice what you learn, and a chance to discuss your findings in a forum with other students. You can download all class material and you will have access to the group here forever!

Colouring takes lots and lots of practice... this class is a resource to help you start or refine your colouring journey and you may still require practice after the class is complete to achieve your desired results. This is a safe and encouraging environment where we can all mistakes to learn from each other :)
When you register for class, you have LIFETIME access to all class materials, videos, and PDFs.
If you use a different email for ning sites than the one you use with paypal, please leave me a msg in the 'Add special instructions to the seller' section with the email you will use on the ning site thank you.
Once you have sent payment through you will be added to a private group on this ning site where all of the lessons are posted. You can then watch the lessons at your own time at home, do your work and share your work in the groups (should you want to - it's not necessary to share your work if you do not want to).
Please note that a refund can be given any time before any of the workshops start. However, during the course, no refunds can be issued.
