I was recommended at my local craft shop to join the classes here at Kit and Clowder & I am so glad i did.

I didn't think I could ever colour that well, but having taken the skin & hair class, I know I can. I am no longer afraid to colour an image & it has opened up a new world of colouring for me. Alyce is extremely patient & gives excellent one on one feedback at every step of the way, should you want it & boy I did!!

If anyone is thinking of joining, go ahead, you wont look back, so much time & effort has gone into these classes, they are worth every penny.

For as long as I have been crafting I have been admiring those beautifully colored images and hoping that one day I could colour like that too! Tried to colour my self, but was never really happy with the outcome. Then I discovered Alyce´s classes by accident and haven´t regretted a second! Finally I´m  starting to like my own colouring and starting to lose the fear of uncoloured image! The fear of uncoloured image was really starting to get me. But because of Alyce I´m starting to overcome this and enjoy colouring. 

If you look at my before and after images you can definitely see the difference! And I´m so happy! So thank you Alyce for your amazing classes and your encouraging  comments! You are truly are talented artist and talented teacher! Thank you for sharing your talent with us!

I have been in and skin and hair class since May and I am so pleased with my progress I have made.  I have taken other classes and bought DVD's and watched countless Youtube videos but NONE of them have done for me what these classes have.   I can not recommend them enough.  We spend so much money on tools but we forget we need lessons on how to use them properly.   Thank you Alyce for these  wonderful classes

It can't be overstated how much time Alyce takes to help each person learn.  I love how in depth the instruction is - even after watching the video a few times over I still pick up new techniques as I progress.  The one-on-one feedback was invaluable too!  It was so handy to be able to submit an image I’m working on and ask for tips for where I’m struggling.  We all spend a fortune on our craft supplies - so spend the money to make sure you make the most of them!!!  Thank you again, Alyce!

The skin and hair class, what can i say? well its such a brilliant class. I didnt have any knowledge of Copics really when i first started, yep i read the stuff on the internet, watched youtube but nothing really helped guide you and help you to get to know your markers. Nor did they help you understand lightsource, colours and combos. Then came along Alyce. And thank goodness for that! Her classes are fantastic. Not only is she an awesome colourist, or card maker, her teaching skills are amazing. The classes are concise, the are straight forward, they start right at the beginning and help you get to know your Copics. She breaks everything down and the work she has put into these are unbelievable. 

Not only this, but she has worked hard to get great sponsors on board so we have fun and funky images to colour. Not only this but the feedback is brilliant. She is always positive and uplifting and gives you confidence in your abilities but she helps you get to the next stage.

Alyce's Skin and Hair class has done wonders for my coloring.  I've always admired Copic markers but never had the money or patience to invest.  Then I purchased my first set as a birthday gift, along with the class. I was instantly impressed.  The level of teaching is awesome.  Right from the start its informative, in depth, well laid out.  And her feedback is priceless!! She's so helpful and always around if we have questions.  She finds the best even in our worst coloring :) Alyce is always finding a way to challenge us to keep working and better ourselves.  I cant wait to sit and start on my Clothing Class!! Before I bought the class, I was thinking a loong time about it, is it worth it? Can I spend that money on one class? And I watched a lot of youtube and googled, but it was so time consuming and I never really felt that I learned the basics..

So one day, I just DID IT..

I bought the Hair and skin class, and was blown away. Here, right in front of me, I had EVERYTHING i needed. No more looking for the right explanations. You start with the basic, shading and shadows.. and from there, all I can say is WOW. The depth of the tutorials and the videos to show you as you learn to find your way trough the challenges.. Yes, there are challenges, NO you don't magically learn to color after ONE video. But Alyce helps you all the way, guiding you when you feel stuck or that this isn't working. She has a special capability to get you to see the positive in your work. and helps you to work with the challenges.

I was really struggling with negative thoughts about my coloring, until I understood that

yessss i have finished the skin and hair class, i`m so glad i went with this challenge

for myself, never expected that i would have so much fun.

i want to thank you Alyce for all your support, because without you, i really did not come so far.

I loved the skin and hair class because I could go at my own pace and complete sections at a time.   I could also stay on one section longer if I needed to do so.   It was great fun and I would highly recommend it.  I look at skin and hair totally differently now.    I still need lots of practice but that's okay.  My one tidbit of advice:  remember to have fun!    Lisa Lucchese

When I added a testimonial for this Class, I had not done a before and after shot.

I took the time to colour up one of my first images ever coloured.  I thought she was beautiful the first time around but now I can see such a difference since taking Alyce Keegans Skin and Hair Colouring Technique classes.

I have managed to get half way through the Animal Colouring Technique Class and cannot wait to finish to get onto the Clothing Colouring Technique Class.

I have taken a few project classes as well and it is amazing how much can be learned in these mini classes.

I am very soon moving onto the Colouring Pencils Classes, which are yet to start.

I am just amazed at the level of skills in colouring is achievable after Alyce Keegans Classes.  I would never have learned this in a physical class, I couldn't afford to go for that many lessons.  Alyce's Classes are such good value for money that all the time there is another class, I will be purchasing it.

Before joining the Skin & Hair Class, my colouring was flat and plain.  Since joining Alyce's class I have actually mastered the skin colouring and even the hair flicking.  If anyone is uncertain as to whether or not to take any of the classes, I would say please do not hesitate, you will not be disappointed and will even be amazed at the progress you make.

I have been using copic markers for a little while now and just haven't been able to bring my images to life, that is until I started the Skin & Hair class. After only a few lessons I can't believe how much my skin and hair has improved and can't wait to see what I can do once I have completed this class and also the clothing class which I haven't started yet lol!!

Alyce has set this class up in an easy to follow format offering lots of practice worksheets, videos to follow along with and a beautifully presented booklet to print out with all the lesson notes in it. 

If you are struggling with the ability to bring your images to life I would strongly recommend this class for you.

I became a member of Kit & Clowder in February 2014. I didn't really know what it was about, except I had seen Alyce's colouring and WISHED I could colour like her.  A few short months later, and there she was, offering to teach us how to colour. I couldn't believe it! I tried to talk myself out of it. I have five kids, four of them very young, and I did not know how I was going to find the time to do an online course. Well, I read the info on the class, re-read the info to make sure I understood it all, and took the the plunge. It said you could go at your own pace, and I thought, well what do I have to lose then? Hopefully, I could make it through at least a couple lessons, and maybe learn something. It was easily the best money I ever spent. There's no way you could take an art class where I live for what Alyce charges for the Skin & Hair class, and learn SO MUCH! The material is in depth, and the videos are easy to understand and follow. She does such a great job of explaining what

I've just started with the Skin and Hair class and have the animals one waiting in the wings.  Even in the very beginning I'm learning so much more than I realized the capabilities of these pens!  Alyce breaks it all down bit by bit in an unintimidating fashion that has me coloring right off the bat.  And with each section of the class I come back with enthusiasm to see what more is in store from Alyce.  The manuals that come with these classes are wonderful!  I took the Animal's manual to be printed out for me (my printer is on the fritz) to a university store and they were so impressed with the quality of the work that Alyce brings to us.  This is a store that prints for very high caliber students and faculty so they know quality when they see it!  I love that the classes are self-paced and if I come to a more challenging area there are lots of images provided to practice the techniques.  Best investment in myself in years!  The price is so worth in terms of what you receive! The com

I am a few homework assignments into my first class.  The videos, documentation, and feedback are wonderful, helpful, timing, and detailed.  The individual feedback you get for homework is helpful and positive...she just nudges you in the direction without dampening your love for coloring.  It would be so easy to have feedback be disheartening...but, it is NOT at all.

I really like that I set my own pace and can learn and practice when I have the time and interest.

She has also helped me with problems with my markers.  This created new leg of my coloring journey!  How and why to clean Copics.  Great information.

This is the best of online adult education:  fun, easy, remarkable improvement, and joyful.

I started the classes in November 2014 I know I couldn't have made a better choice. The class material is a wonderful value and I love the variety of digital stamp artists that are available to color in the class examples. The videos are easy to follow and understand. I began using Copics in November and I can't imagine I would have learnt as much as I have without Kit and Clowder.

I have learnt multiple skin tones and an immense variety of hair colors, not just the typical black, red, brown and blonde, but all the different hues too! The one on one feedback has been my favorite thing by far. When I am not sure what is wrong or what it is that isn't looking right, Alyce has helped and gives ways to improve. Not just critiquing but so much encouragement too.

Besides the classes themselves, Kit and Clowder has given me a wonderful community to be a part of. Finding and talking to people with similar interests has been wonderful. The group as a whole is supportive and a great inspirat

I discovered Kit and Clowder's online coloring community a few months back and it appealed to me so much, I had to jump in with both feet!

I signed up for the Skin and Hair class, and although I haven't had much of a chance to do the lessons, I see so many great reviews from the other "Clowdies".  The before and after pictures are a real testament, to the quality of instruction, we receive, as class members.

Alyce, the instructor, has put together an extensive list of materials to reference, and has worked tirelessly to do most of the thinking for us. Her love of what she does shows in the detail of her efforts, to teach us to color, rather than just follow a bland tutorial. She has even done conversion charts, to include whichever brand of marker you're using, and which colors to use, for each brand. (ie: Copics, Spectrum Noir, Promarker, etc..)

I am still working my way through the Skin and Hair class and if I needed to sum it up I'd say that it is totally user friendly (even for non computer experts lol), easy to follow step by step guidance and support and best of all, professionally done video's that work with you through the class.

The whole format is so professionally done that it means you can work at your own pace (if your me its slow as I'm trying to fit it in lol), and you can go back over a step if you do not feel confident at one technique.  The digi stamps you get to work with are the ones we would use anyway so you feel more confident when you try to use one from the sponsors on your own projects.

The video's can be stopped, rewound and watched again and again so you can ensure you have understood and also see where you might have gone wrong.

Lastly, Alyce is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to know.  She is so kind, thoughtful and supportive of all the group do that there is no pressure at all and i
